Helping athletes, active individuals, and animals recover from injury and get back to doing what they love.
Dr. Josh focuses on sports injuries, disc-related conditions, and full-body musculoskeletal care with a practical, results-driven approach built around each patient’s goals.
Known for his ability to clearly explain what is going on and actually fix the problem, patients often leave saying, “that feels so much better” or “I wish I would have known about this sooner.”
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Josh built his academic foundation in the sciences before pursuing a career centered on movement, recovery, and helping others live more actively. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Westminster College and went on to continue his education at Logan College of Chiropractic.
There, he completed both his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Exercise Prescription and Sports Rehabilitation. That combination still shapes how he practices today. His background gives him a strong understanding not only of pain and injury, but of how the body performs, adapts, and gets stronger over time.
After finishing school in 2010, Dr. Josh practiced in Fairbanks, Alaska before eventually making his way to the Bozeman and Belgrade area in 2013. Since then, he has spent more than a decade serving patients in the Gallatin Valley while building a life centered around family, the outdoors, and the Montana lifestyle.
Today, Dr. Josh helps a wide range of patients, from athletes and active adults to ranch and working animals. You can also meet the rest of our team here.
Dr. Josh brings a mix of experience, personality, and clear communication into every visit. He is the kind of doctor who takes the time to explain what is going on, what the injury actually means, and what needs to happen to get better.
Patients appreciate that he does not overcomplicate things. He has a practical way of breaking problems down so they make sense, and that tends to put people at ease quickly. A lot of patients walk away saying things like, “that feels so much better” or “I wish I would have known about this sooner.”
He is also a talker in the best way. He keeps care personal, makes visits feel comfortable, and helps people feel like they actually understand their own body by the time they leave.
Every visit with Dr. Josh starts with a full evaluation and a clear explanation of what is actually going on. He believes that patients should understand their body, not just be treated. That means taking the time to walk through the injury, how it likely developed, and what needs to happen to move forward.
From there, care is built specifically around the individual. No two patients move the same, train the same, or live the same lifestyle, so treatment reflects that. Whether someone is dealing with a disc issue, a sports injury, or a long-standing pattern of tightness and restriction, the focus is always on what will actually create change.
Dr. Josh combines hands-on chiropractic care with movement-based strategies to help restore function. Adjustments are used to improve joint motion, while simple, practical exercises help reinforce those changes and build stability over time.
His goal is not just to make you feel better for a day or two, but to help you move better long-term. That means focusing on both immediate relief and giving you the support you need to get back to doing what you love as soon as possible.

Dr. Josh works with a wide range of patients, but he especially enjoys helping athletes, outdoors people, and active individuals who want to stay moving at a high level. He understands that for many people in Montana, feeling better is not just about being pain-free. It is about getting back to training, hiking, hunting, fishing, working hard, and living fully.
Clinically, he sees a lot of sports injuries, disc-related issues, and general musculoskeletal problems. Whether the issue came from training, work, repetitive strain, or just life catching up with you, his goal is always to help restore function and get you back on track.
He also provides chiropractic care for animals, including ranch and working animals. That side of his practice reflects the same mindset he brings to human care — support movement, improve function, and help the body perform the way it is supposed to.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Josh’s life looks a lot like why he chose Montana in the first place. Hunting, hiking, camping, fishing, family time, and being around animals are all a big part of who he is.
He and his wife are raising two kids here, and the Gallatin Valley has become home in every sense of the word. That lifestyle matters to him, and it shapes how he sees patient care. For Dr. Josh, the mountains are not just the backdrop. They are part of daily life, and part of what people are trying to get back to when pain or injury gets in the way.
That is what makes his care feel grounded and real. He understands that the goal is not just to feel better on paper. It is to get back to the things that make life enjoyable and meaningful.
As Chief Operations Officer at Windy Ridge Chiropractic, Dr. Josh helps guide the systems, flow, and day-to-day operations that support the patient experience. That role fits him well because it reflects the same traits he brings into the treatment room — consistency, attention to detail, and a practical approach to solving problems.
Whether he is helping a patient recover, supporting the team, or keeping the bigger picture moving in the right direction, his focus stays the same: make things work better, make things feel clearer, and help people move forward.
If you are dealing with pain, injury, or just not moving the way you want to, Dr. Josh is here to help.
