Clinical skill with compassionate care

About Nichole

Over 15 years of hands-on experience focused on purposeful soft tissue care rather than a one-size-fits-all massage.

Nichole originally planned to study physical therapy, but life took a different path after she met her husband, started a family, and moved to Alaska. While living in Anchorage, she worked reception at a massage therapy clinic, where the owner became a mentor and encouraged her to pursue massage therapy school because of her anatomy and physiology background.

That encouragement helped lead Nichole into a career she now loves. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, she brings a clinical, results-driven, and personalized approach to massage therapy. Her work is focused on helping clients get back to doing what they love, return to daily activities with more comfort, and address areas of restriction with intention.

Nichole specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Her care is therapeutic and purposeful—not just relaxation massage. She is comfortable working in a productive discomfort zone when appropriate, while also helping patients understand the difference between useful pressure and pressure that may be too much.

Intentional soft tissue care

Therapeutic Massage Focus

Nichole takes a clinical approach to massage, focusing on areas of tension and restriction with clear, practical intent.

Deep Tissue Massage

Focused hands-on work for areas of tension, restriction, and muscular discomfort.

Myofascial Release

Soft tissue care aimed at improving how tissues move and reducing areas of restriction.

Trigger Point Therapy

Targeted work for sensitive, overactive areas of muscle that may be contributing to discomfort.

Medical Massage Background

Nichole’s experience in medical massage helps her approach care with clinical focus and practical intent.

Root-cause thinking

Approach to Therapeutic Massage

Focused soft tissue care shaped around the person, the connected nature of the body, and the demands of daily life.

Nichole treats with intention and focuses on the root cause of restriction, not just the area that hurts. She often explains that the area of pain is not always the source of the problem, which is why surrounding muscles, posture, movement patterns, and compensation can matter.

Because she works alongside a team of chiropractors, Nichole’s massage therapy fits into a broader care environment rather than a spa setting. She educates clients on what she is doing, why certain areas may need attention, and how consistency can support better long-term progress.

A focused starting point

What a Massage Visit Looks Like

Targeted care begins with understanding what you are feeling, where it is limiting you, and what you want to get back to doing.

Massage therapy room at Windy Ridge Chiropractic in Big Sky

A massage therapy visit with Nichole starts with understanding where tension, restriction, or discomfort is showing up. From there, she uses targeted hands-on soft tissue care to support movement, comfort, and recovery.

Communication is an important part of her work. Patients are encouraged to tell her if pressure feels too intense or if something hurts in a way that does not feel productive. Deep tissue work can feel like a “good hurt,” but it should still feel controlled, intentional, and appropriate for the person on the table.

Service, family, and Montana

Life Outside the Clinic

The empathy and work ethic Nichole brings to massage therapy are closely connected to family, service, community, and an active life in Montana.

Outside the clinic, Nichole spends time with her husband Mike, who is her best friend. Mike is retired Army and, according to Nichole, works harder now than he did while active duty.

They have two daughters in college, one at the University of Nebraska and one at Montana State University, both doing well and making great grades. They also have three dogs that keep life busy at home.

Nichole and her family are thankful to be back in the mountains, where they can ski, camp, mountain bike, hike, and stay connected to the outdoor lifestyle that makes Montana feel like home.
